I recently had the pleasure of attending the Spring Awakening event at Don Me Now, an adorable boutique nestled conveniently in the heart of Tampa’s Chanel District (a quick walk for those docking and preparing for your next cruise one things are up and running again!).
This boutique is the first of it’s kind and only US-based boutique that features a full champagne bar called, Bubbly Barchique, allowing customers to relax and sip while you shop all the fun fashion, gifts, and more!
Don Me Now is located at 1211 East Kennedy Blvd. Tampa, FL 33602.
Decorated with beautiful, luxury finishes, this unique boutique is the perfect location for your next girl’s night out, bachelorette party, or just a fun afternoon of shopping with a friend! In addition to offering the latest styles in fashion and accessories with comfortable fittings rooms, they also host several events throughout the year to bring you a truly unique experience! It’s definitely worth a visit on your next trip to Tampa!
Spring Awakening Event:
I was invited to a private event (a couple weeks ago) to preview the new spring collection, enjoy some yummy treats and champagne, and meet other local content creators. It was so fun to meet Danielle and her husband and hear all about how they came up with this business idea and what makes them extra special!
UPDATE: What Happens now that Everything is Closed?
The Spring Awakening event is the last event I have attended since the world went into quarantine! You guys….I haven’t left my home in 11 days! In efforts to keep the community safe, Don Me Now is currently offering online shipping with curbside pickup or delivery options and all events will be rescheduled. You can read more about their quarantine policy here.
I hope you enjoy getting to know more about Danielle and Don Me Now and will visit her amazing shop once things are all opened up again!
In the meantime, you can support this small business when you shop online at www.donmenow.com!

Behind the Business:
Meet Daniele Evans, the Boss Babe behind Don Me Now:
Lindsay Satmary: This is such a fun concept! How did you come up with the idea?
Danielle Evans: Prior to the hybrid concept, we were located in Hyde Park Village for close to 5 years where we would do styling events, parties and more. We would always offer our clients bubbly and we saw that this was something that really aligned with our clientele. We created the concept as a way to introduce experiential shopping to Tampa. Guests can sip and shop at their leisure as well as host events, private parties and more.
LS: Do you have other locations?
DE: Channel District is our only location so far
LS: What kinds of products are sold in your boutique?
DE: We carry women’s apparel, accessories, giving items and more. On the bar side, we carry a range of bubbly from sparkling wine to true champagne.
LS: Do you typically carry the same brands or rotate new ones in?
DE: I love exploring and finding new brands. We have a particular shopper who loves good quality merchandise that is on trend at a moderate price point. That’s always our goal. We try to keep the same motto on the bar side since we want you to be able to grab a glass and shop without guilt.
LS: How often do you restock?
DE: Seasonally it depends but typically, we’re getting new merchandise weekly. Sometimes its accessories or shoes and sometimes its apparel.
LS: What sizes do you carry?
DE: Our sizes range from XS to 2XL in some sizes and we carry outerwear like kimonos and capes seasonally that are one size
LS: What types of events do you host?
DE: If you can think of it, we’ve hosted it. Bachelorettes, engagement parties, bridal showers, charity events, networking events, birthdays and more!
LS: Do customers need to make a reservation?
DE: Anyone can sip and shop anytime the boutique is open but we recommend that if you’ve got a certain time and date you’re wanting to secure for more than 3 guests, making a reservation helps. With all of the private events that we host, its necessary to do this to ensure you get the date you want.
LS: How long have you been in business?
DE: We launched in 2012 and opened the first store in Hyde Park in 2013
LS: What are some fun milestones you’ve hit as a business?
DE: Creating this concept as the first in the country feels surreal and the first champagne bar in Tampa is such an accomplishment. I love that my husband and I can work together daily, we could never have done that without this venture. We’ve been happy to sit on the board with Tampa’s Downtown Partnership and the SSD committee to bring retail downtown to the forefront of our community. And to be featured in the first volume of the Know Tribe truly meant so much!
LS: What are you hoping to accomplish this year?
DE: We’ve recently launched our online store and are learning new ways to improve this platform daily. We are constantly trying to bring new ideas and events to the community so we hope that we can give guests an experience they’ve never had before!
LS: Who is your ideal customer?
DE: The great thing is that anyone can shop with us…well, if you’re 21+. Ha! We’ve got a little something for everyone so we welcome all facets. We love when we get feedback that people love the idea of what we’re doing, that is a great compliment.
LS: Can customers shop your boutique items online?
LS: What are some upcoming events we can look forward to (once things open back up)?
DE: Unfortunately, all events are on hold for now but stay tuned because we’ve got some fun ones coming up…Italian Night – Italian bites and wine tasting, Floral Bouquet Making Class and more!
LS: What’s something you’d like people to know about Don Me Now?
DE: We like to think that we keep it real. We love when people just come to sip and shop and we can connect with them. The neighborhood is wonderful and we love that we’ve become the local boutique and bar for many of our clients. We don’t have all the answers, we love learning how we can be better all the time. We just want to continue to improve and do a good job for our community.
LS: Can you let readers know if you have and current promotions running before they shop?
DE: We are offering free shipping online with any order over $100 right now. Additionally, we are doing package delivery and curbside pick ups!
Thank you SO much for inviting me out and sharing your story!
I had so much fun learning about this business and checking out the shop!
