Lindsay Satmary First Father's Day

On July 3, 2012, my husband became a father. Our little guy was named after both his daddy and his grandpa. He definitely has some big shoes to fill, but I have no doubt that he will do amazing things with his life and am thankful he has incredible examples to look up to. 🙂

I am so so so thankful for my amazing husband, Drew, who has grown into such a wonderful father! Even as we prepared for Andrew to arrive, he was always taking such great care of our little family. Seeing him with Andrew and the way they look at each other with smiles filled with lots of love and listening to them laughing and playing together is the best feeling ever! It takes more than just having a child to be a father. You have to put in the time and effort to care, keep them safe, make them feel special and important and loved, teach them new things, share new experiences, and much, much more. Drew does all of this and so much more. I couldn’t ask for a better father for my amazing little Panda. I love my boys soooo much!

I feel like the greatest gift that a mom can give her child is a wonderful, loving father. I’m so thankful for our family and being able to share special moments together each day. I know I married a great man because I hope my little guy will turn out just like his daddy one day!

I know it’s a combination of love and having a great example to look up to (Larry Satmary) Thank you both for all you do for our family and for all of the memories we will make in the years to come ♥♥ and Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and grandpas out there also.
