This morning we enjoyed a fun family day at the Florida Aquarium in Channelside. We had some family visiting from out of state, so it was the perfect way to make some new memories with family near and far. Andrew had a blast! He got to walk around all by himself a couple times and he couldn’t wait to explore! He also really enjoyed looking at all of the fish and birds.
One of the rangers was showing a little crocodile or alligator (I can’t remember which), and I was surprised to learn about how slow they grow. I thought it was a few weeks old and he said it was around three YEARS old! Crazy! I guess that explains a little better how some crazy people end up with them as pets. Andrew didn’t care for it, though.
I think Andrew’s favorite part of the Aquarium was a tie between the room with giant wall of fish and the walk-through-mist. We had so much fun with our little guy, his cousins, uncle and aunts, and grandparents. This visit was a different experience than the last one because it was the first time he really got to walk a little. Everything is always new and exciting, and it’s so fun to see how he grows and learns between each visit.
Thanks, Boo & Gramps for such a fun time!
After the Aquarium, we headed downtown to Curtis Hixon Park so the kiddos could play in the fountains.
