Spring is just around the corner and if your kids are like mine, they probably can’t WAIT to get outside and have some fun! As a mom of three, I love finding opportunities that are fun AND affordable! Here are some great opportunities for kids I’ve come across recently that I hope you will enjoy!

Whether your kids are new to sports or have some practice under their belt, they will have lots of fun with this amazing opportunity to learn about soccer! Challenger Sports’ British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country. Hundreds of Challenger coaches each year have helped the company develop one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the US. Their experienced staff study the game at all levels and they have identified the key techniques and skills that your players need to work on and master to reach their true potential. This camp is available all over the country! For a list of locations in your area, click here.

This organization offers fun soccer camps for kids as young as 3 all the way up to age 18 with age appropriate skills! Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily World Cup tournament. Andrew and Aidan have never played sports before and are SUPER excited to try the Minisoccer camp for 4-5 year olds which teaches fundamental practices, fun activities and small sided games for 1.5 hrs each day.

Register for camp and get a FREE JERSEY, BALL, T SHIRT & NEW SKILLS APP AND 20 FREE VIDEOS! Your free British Soccer game jersey (value $34.95) is shipped to you for free immediately, and you will also get their brand new skill development App and 20 complimentary videos to help your child practice at home. Your child’s soccer ball, T-shirt & poster will be given out at camp. To redeem this deal, use Promo Code BSC18 at checkout when you enroll here.

For more than five decades, the Sea World Rescue team has provided a second chance at life to more than 31,000 animals, always with the goal of rehabilitating them and returning them to the wild. If you haven’t yet visited Sea World, I highly recommend planning a trip! I still remember visiting Sea World with my family when I was a kid and how amazing it was to see the dolphins, whales, sea lions, and more! My kids love animals as much as I do and they’re at such a great age to enjoy the fun shows and attractions the park offers.

Sea World Orlando is currently offering an AMAZING deal for families with younger children! The Sea World Preschool Pass allows kids ages 3-5  to receive FREE ANNUAL PASSES for 2018! This offer is available to Florida residents with proof of age (birth certificate or passport) and residency (parents must have a valid Florida ID card). This incredible opportunity will allow your family to learn about marine life and make special memories all year long! This pass also includes a complimentary annual pass for ages 3-5 to Busch Gardens in Tampa! Learn more about the Preschool Passes here. This offer is valid to redeem through May 20, 2018 and the passes will work all year long!

If you love going to the movies, you’re going to LOVE being able to preview the ENTIRE movie BEFORE it’s out to the public….all for FREE! Depending on the area you live in, you can request advanced movie screening tickets when available. This opportunity is also great for mom and dad! My husband and I just screened A Wrinkle in Time a couple nights ago and it was AMAZING! I seriously LOVED the movie so much!! While we were there, we were given more tickets to see an advanced screening of Tomb Raider next week!

Lots of theaters around the country participate in this program and it’s totally free to request. After you view the movie, you’ll receive a short survey for feedback. No credit cards required, no strings attached. Because these are advanced screenings, there is a strict policy forbidding the use of any recording devices to include your phone. You will be asked to check your phone at the door with an attendant who will issue you a claim ticket to retrieve your device as soon as the movie is over-so it’s totally safe. If you arrive early, you may get to participate in fun giveaways! If you arrive late, you won’t be able to get in.

How it Works:

Advanced screenings are available for all types of movies for both kids and adult audiences. Viewers can typically request 1-2 tickets to make sure many people get a chance to participate in the advanced screening. To see if any opportunities are available in your area, visit Once you sign up, you’ll receive emails now and then (no spam and emails are infrequent) throughout the year for screenings available in your area. If you are interested, you can request a claim code to grab your tickets! Tickets can be printed or you can scan your QR code at the door. These opportunities are first come first served, so once the email comes, you’ll have to act fast before the tickets are all spoken for.

Feeling crafty? It’s okay if you aren’t one of those Pinterest moms- just show up at your local Home Depot, Michaels, or Bass Pro Shops stores on designated project days at the listed time and your kids will have fun making a special project that get to take home! Typically there is no fee to participate and materials are also provided!

Home Depot:

Projects vary by location so click here to find a store near you and search for kids workshops like this one. How cute is that mini apron they get to keep?!

For a small fee of $2-$5 per child, kids ages 3 and up  (some projects are designed for 6 and up) can come to a class at Michaels and create a fun project! Materials are provided and there are lots of classes and projects to choose from. Projects and schedules vary by location, so click here to find a Michaels store schedule near you. Some special classes will be announced on Facebook, like this Slime Sunday event, that are completely free, so be sure to check your Facebook events in your area!

Bass Pro Shops:

If you have a Bass Pro Shops store in your area, your kids are going to have SO much fun this month with tons of free Easter activities: from craft making to an egg hunt, and even a FREE photo with the Easter Bunny! Check your local store for event schedules and hours here for more info!

Whether you are looking for ways to get active, enjoy a theme park, catch a movie this spring, or make some hands-on projects…..I hope your family can enjoy these fun opportunities! Be sure to check back as I’ll be sharing more fun things to do with your kids each month!

How old are YOUR kids and what do they LOVE to do?
