We took the boys to the Monster Jam Triple Threat Show in Tampa last weekend and they had SO MUCH FUN! They’ve been wanting to go for quite awhile and we finally felt like they were at the perfect age. This was their very FIRST event and I so loved watching the excitement on their faces!

Watch the highlights from the show in this video!

We were able to check out the pit party before the show and Andrew and Aidan loved meeting the drivers and getting up close and personal with real, live Monster Trucks!

Monster Trucks aren’t just for boys–it was cool to see that there were not one, but TWO female drivers and lots of little girls in the audience enjoying the show! I actually enjoyed the show a lot!

The show was filled with action-packed entertainment featuring big Monster Trucks, ATVs, and Speedsters. The competition was comprised of a series of competitions and drivers earned points for each round. Some challenges were based on time, like racing around the track…..and other challenges were voted on by the audience from the convenience of our phones! At the end of the competition, each truck got an opportunity to show off their skills in the freestyle challenge. And it’s a good thing everyone had their helmets on, because there were a few crashes!

The winner of the show was Tony Ochs with Soldier Fortune Black Ops–it was his first win and it was really exciting to see it all happen!

Overall, the show was a ton of fun and I can’t wait to go back for the next one! If you have kids who like Monster Trucks, they will LOVE this show!

Mom tip: The sound does get super loud, so if your kids are little or sensitive to loud noises, you may want to pack some noise blocking headphones!
