Welcome to the first week of my Storytime Saturday series! This week, our storytime theme is Pandas in Pajamas! Our theme  was inspired by my aunt who LOVES pandas! Avalynn also loves pandas and her favorite panda is Special Agent Oso.

We are sharing three fun books all about Pandas while wearing comfy panda pajamas! What’s more fun than pandas in pajamas?! We got the kids’ panda pajamas from the Children’s Place and my Panda onesie is from Kohl’s. I’ll be totally honest with you guys, I totally wear this around the house when it’s cold with no shame. It’s like a blanket that goes with me anywhere I go! Too bad it’s not acceptable to wear out and about because in the cold, snowy weather, I could totally be a happy Panda at Target!

Our first book is called Chengdu Could Not Would Not Fall Asleep by Disney-Hyperion. It is a nice, large hardcover book with beautiful illustrations and pull-out paper pages that tells the story of a panda who has some trouble falling asleep. It’s a fairly short read with some easy words so I imagine next year Andrew will be able to read this book by himself to his siblings. It’s such a cute and fun book and could make for a great bedtime story. Fun Fact: Chengdu is named after a city in China that is home to many pandas in real life! You can get a copy here!

Our next book is called Hello Panda by Parragon Books. This cute board book is perfect for little ones who will have so much fun peeking through the die cut pages to find the panda! We have several of these books in a set and they are all so cute and fun with bright colors! You can get it here!

Finally, we have Panda in the park by Usborne books. This is Avalynn’s favorite! Usborne is a direct sales company that has an AMAZING selection of educational and entertaining books for kids of all ages from babies through high school. Their quality of books is among the best and many of their books, like this one, feature fun and interactive elements. They are also really affordable and release lots of great, new titles all year long. Panda in the park is a hide and seek style look-through book with windows and animal fun! You can grab a copy here from my friend, Lesli, who is an Usborne books consultant. Any purchase you make will help support her cute family. She’s an amazing mama to twins that are Aidan’s age and an adorable baby girl a couple months younger than Avalynn. If you love kids books as much as I do, be sure to also join her fun group on Facebook here where she shares all of her book specials and new releases along with parties and giveaways. (She has lots of cute videos sharing the books so you can check them out before you buy them!)

Avalynn’s Panda outfit is from Carter’s and her shoes are from Freshly Picked. How cute is this girl?! I can’t believe how big she is already!

I hope you loved our Pandas in Pajamas Storytime Saturday!

Come back next week and we’ll take you on a fun indoor camping trip!
