In collaboration with French Toast, we’re sharing a little behind-the-scenes of what we did this morning!

French Toast Friday Morning:
Andrew marked off the date on his calendar and drew in the weather report. He was really excited about this since we just started doing it! Then, their daddy made them yummy French Toast with berries and we had a picnic on our bed. The boys had their own little tray set up and they had a great time.
After breakfast, Andrew and I worked on his kindergarten lesson. Each day he gets a math worksheet (his favorite!) and then practices writing the word of the day. Today his word was “Friday.” Then, I listened to him read a couple chapters in one of his books.
I can’t say enough how proud of him I am as I watch him read all by himself! He has done such an amazing job this year. It seems like it was just yesterday that we dropped him off at kindergarten for his first day. Now that year is almost over. After our recent move, I’ve been homeschooling him and I try to mix in activities with short, daily lessons. He loves to learn and I’ve enjoyed so much watching him grow. I can’t wait until Aidan gets to start kindergarten because he’s also looking forward to it. While I helped Andrew do his lesson, Aidan got to play in their room. Then, the boys headed outside to play….which is their favorite part of the afternoon!
