It’s that time of year again where summer is coming to an end and fall is about ready to begin. I try to switch out our home decor every season to keep the house feeling fun and fresh. This year, I’m so excited to collaborate with my favorite home decor store, At Home, to being you some fun finds! I was challenged to redecorate a room for under $100 so I chose the kitchen because we spend a lot of time in there! I’ll show you some of the amazing items I found and some sneak peeks of items you can find at At Home stores near you! If you aren’t familiar with this store, you definitely need to check them out. They are the go-to place for all things home decor and have the biggest selection of holiday decor from any store I’ve ever been to! They keep the store well-stocked with great items that are not only awesome, but are also super affordable. If you want more bang for your buck without compromising on style and quality, this is your store!
Magnetic Photo Frame Sets:
I started with the refrigerator. It’s obviously a focal point in the room and when you have little ones, a fridge can get cluttered up really quickly. I love being able to display photos from family and friends and our kids on the fridge so taking them down was not an option. I found a bunch of cool magnetic photo frames for only $1.99 each! What a difference it makes! Now the fridge decor looks more intentional and a lot less random.
Light Box Accessories:
I also found an awesome selection of Heidi Swapp light box accessories! I saw these on the At Home website and was really excited to snag some for my light box! If you love Instagram as much as I do, these are a must have! They have a huge variety of different types of colored letters, icons, and more starting at only $3.99!
Photo Frame:
At Home has THE BEST selection of photo frames in all sizes, shapes, colors, and styles. I was looking for a specific style of frame for one of Avalynn’s newborn photos. This frame was the PERFECT match! It was made for her photo! It was only $9.99 and matched our color palette exactly!
Pretty Decor for the Island:
Our kitchen island has never been properly appreciated. Instead of using it as a catch-all place for dumping backpacks and mail, I wanted to make it a focal point and help bring some fun to this room. I found a gorgeous table runner that fit the length perfectly for only $19.99. Then, I added a serving tray for $12.99. The doily print is not my typical style, but it reminds me of my nana who made thousands of these! Although she was not able to visit us here in Utah, I feel like I have a little piece of her in my kitchen. This globe for $19.99. Let’s just look at for a minute. It’s so perfect and so us! (I guess you could describe our style as rustic/modern farmhouse…..in teal and grey.) I had a hard time choosing between all of the fun American Crafts Globe Gallery decorative globes, but ultimately went with the one in our colors. At Home has so many fun choices, including chalkboard, along with some accessories to add to your globe. So cool! I’m probably going to get a couple more for other rooms in the house (and my office!). I also added a cute geometric wooden elephant $19.99. We kinda like elephants and it’s super cute!
Thankful sign:
Finally, I wanted to brighten the room up a bit since our kitchen is pretty dark. Instead of just opening the blinds in the window, I thought raising them would add a lot of extra light into the room. However, what was once a view of a cute little red barn is now a major construction site as a new development is going up behind our house. So that isn’t the best view. While searching for the perfect piece for the window sill, I came across this large, wooden “thankful” sign for only $19.99 (which was a steal!) and it was perfect! The perfect size (26″ across), very sturdy, and, of course, the message that reminds me to appreciate everything we have. Life is really pretty amazing when you take the time to be thankful. I love this piece so much!
Kitchen Refresh Under $100 Results:
As you can see, all of the new items fit perfectly into our kitchen. While I found a variety of pieces all throughout the store, they fit so well together. I really like the way everything turned out, especially the island! Now our kitchen looks prettier! The total amount spent with taxes was $117. (The light box accessories put me just slightly over budget but they are so fun!) The amount of items I got for this budget is amazing! I don’t know of any home decor stores where you can find all of these things at such great prices!
#AtHomeFinds for You:
So I wanted to also show you guys some of the cool things I found in the store that I know many of you will LOVE! At Home is currently getting ready for fall with fall, Halloween, and Christmas decor stocking the shelves. Here are a few of my favorite cool finds:
Fun Fall Items:
I’m LOVING these teal and purple pumpkins! My favorite colors! And then I came across this really neat tray. Read the message on it. So fun! I wish all of our family lived closer to us!
My Little Shopping Buddy:
This girl…. I just love her so much! She had so much fun in her little Binxy Baby hammock shopping with mommy. At Home is a huge store with so many aisles of amazing things! The shelves go up pretty high and are filled with all kinds of fun things for her to look at.
