If you’re expecting a visit from the Easter Bunny this spring, here are some fun Easter Basket ideas that your kids will love!
Putting together Easter baskets for my kids is something I look forward to every spring. I’ve done so many different themed baskets from over the top toy hauls (new mom, it happens to the best of us) to cute themes like a beach bucket filled with flip flops and swim wear the year we moved back to Florida. This year, I decided to go more simple and create baskets that were bunny/spring themed with a few snacks and light on the candy because I knew we’d be making some treats together and didn’t want to overload the kids with sugar. Which I didn’t exactly succeed at…. but I tried!
What’s in our Easter Basket this year?
I got the baskets from Target mainly because they match the kids’ new bedroom decor. Instead of spending money on a basket that we’d use only once, I wanted something that could work to organize their toys after the holiday. These are perfect and well made. I think they were $12 in the Pillowfort section.

I think everything came out super cute and was also affordable and functional. The plushies and baskets match their room decor and will be a perfect fit!
Cookie Basket from Cheryl’s Cookies:
The kids received a basket gifted from Cheryl’s Cookies this year and it is so much fun! Inside this unicorn basket are a variety of assorted cookies (sugar cookies with sprinkles in multiple colors, sugar cookies without frosting, chocolate chip cookies), chocolate covered pretzels, and a unicorn lollipop. Each item comes individually wrapped and ready to enjoy. You can order a variety of treat baskets as gifts from Cheryl’s Cookies all year long and they arrive in the mail to your recipient.

Avalynn LOVES her treats so this totally made her day and her brothers enjoyed it as well!
Toddler Girl “No-Candy” Easter Basket Idea:
I discovered this assorted bow collection on Amazon and knew it would be the perfect egg stuffer idea for my little niece. I found a package of multi-colored plastic eggs and a basket from Target and stuffed each egg with a matching color bow. You cannot go wrong with bows for little girls! It’s a fun gift idea that can be used year-round for many years to come!

I also found the perfect rainbow bow hanger to go along with it. Avalynn has one too, and it’s so nice to have them all hung up so we can see them. This took less than 5 minutes to put together and came out so cute!
As a parent who enjoys getting my kids treats during the holidays, I also try to remember how it can sometimes be a little overwhelming to have a sugar overload once the kids start getting treats from everyone else. For this reason, I thought a no-candy basket would be a great idea for gifting! (Although I did sneak in a few cookies from our Cheryl’s basket because we had plenty to share!)
